Ellen Corbitt Currin, LMSW, CSE

Ellen Corbitt Currin (any pronouns) is a clinical social worker and an AASECT-certified sexuality educator. She holds a Masters of Social Work from Washington University’s Brown School and is currently under supervision to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Ellen’s practice is rooted in relationship: to oneself, to others, and to the world. Her approach is compassionate and trauma-informed. While Ellen is responsive to the needs of each unique client, she often incorporates elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Ellen specializes in working with clients on issues relating to interpersonal relationships, identity exploration, gender, sex, and sexuality. 

Ellen is also a sex educator and specializes in teaching individuals with cognitive and developmental disabilities. Ellen manages the SHADE (Sexual Health and Disability Education) program at Bridges.
