Kelly Bauman, MSW, LCSW

Kelly Bauman brings 15 years of experience counseling and supporting people with mental illness. She received her MSW from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York and worked in the New York metropolitan area in mobile crisis intervention, community-based, in-patient, and clinical services.

Kelly successfully helps adults, young through geriatric stage, learn how to navigate their personal mental health barriers. Her specialty areas include those with chronic and persistent mental illness who are prepared to make progress in a clinical one-on-one setting.

As a champion for long-term success, Kelly is passionate about educating individuals about the nature of the chronic or cycling illness, identifying resources, and working with family members as a leveraged, rather than overworked, support system. Other specialty areas include mood disorders as well as dual diagnosis.

We may work well together if…

  • Past therapy didn’t offer real-life solutions to chronic issues.

  • You want more understanding, education, and insight into who you are and how you are living your life.

  • You know you need skill development in areas of communication, interpersonal skills, and decision making.
